Cities with most business aviation flights
London and Nice airports had most activity and largest YOY growth.

London’s 13 airports had 9% growth. Activity at Athens airport was up by 18% YOY.

How did August 2017 compare to previous years?

Aug-17 was the first August since the recession to exceed pre-crisis peaks in activity.

The Motor racing Grand Prix events again provoked a spike in business aviation activity.

Types of mission operated by business aviation

The last day of August saw 47% of all flights chartered. 8% of flights were Special Mission.

 1194 business aviation flights from UK to France, a 6.1% YOY pick up in activity.

Popular types of business aviation aircraft

Light aircraft continued to set strong growth trends, especially the Phenom 300.

Number of aircraft handled and fuelled

Flight activity in August uplifted 24M USG of Jet A1. 26% of handled aircraft were on AOC.
