New Features Added With the June Update to Excel

Excelapalooza Opens for Registration

Rod Drury & Xero Win Global Marketing Award 

With the June 2017 update, Microsoft beefed up the Get & Transform functionality in Excel 2016 (known as Power Query in Excel 2013 and Excel 2010). Like many other updates to Excel 2016, these new features are available only to Office 365 subscribers. If you are running Excel 2013 or Excel 2010, you can access these new features by downloading the latest version of the Power Query add-in.


Excelapalooza, the annual Excel user conference, is now open for registration. Hosted by BizNet Software, Excelapalooza features sessions by Bill Jelen and K2's own Mac McClelland. This year's conference is scheduled for September 17 through 20 at the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center.

Xero founder and CEO Rod Drury, has been named Global Marketer of the Year at an international marketing research conference held at the University of Canterbury. The Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) Global Marketer of the Year Award "recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of marketing and in particular, they have demonstrated a history of supporting and appreciating the discipline of marketing and its contributions to global market development and enhancement in quality of life."
