Welcoming Dinner for IT Legislative Councilor 2016-2020, The Honorable Charles Mok (30 September)

The Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF), Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and Professional Information Security Association (PISA) are jointly organizing a welcoming dinner for The Honorable Charles Mok as the elected Legislative Councilor, Information Technology, of the new term of Legislative Council 2016-2020.

Date: 30 September 2016, Friday

Time: 7:00-10:00pm

LegCo Information Technology Constituency Election Forum (29 August)

Secret Social - Augmented Reality (AR): Gimmick or Golden Goose? (31 August)

To create a platform for IT voters to understand more about the candidates’ view for the Legislative Council Election IT Functional Constituency, co-organized with Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF) and Professional Information Security Association (PISA), WTIA organized the LegCo Information Technology Constituency Election Forum on 29 August. Two candidates, Mr. Charles Mok and Mr. Eric Yeung were invited to be the speakers while Mr. Danny Fung, Deputy Chief Editor of am730 was the facilitator.

The first Secret Social event is organized on 31 August and the theme of the event was Augmented Reality. Seven discussion leaders, including Mr. Andrew Pang, Founder & MD of Leovation, Mr. Dixon Cheung Founder of Fingerprint Studios, Mr. Ivan Wong, Project Manager of Cherrypicks, Mr. Jordan Cheng, CEO of MAD Gaze, Mr. Mann Yim, Director of Bubbleslink, Mr. Ricky Lui, Co-Founder of Joy Aether and Mr. Tonny Tong, Senior Manager of Alibaba were invited to lead the discussion during the event.
