Dale Oxygen & Walter Surface Technologies Administer Abrasives Safety Seminar for Local Manufacturer! | |

For 3 days in October, Walter Surface Technologies and Dale Oxygen teamed up to put on a abrasives safety seminar at JWF Industries (Johnstown Welding & Fabrication). The seminar began in the classroom, moved to the shop floor, and ended where it should... in the hands of the workers. All JWF employees who use grinding equipment and abrasives on the job went through the safety seminar and received a certificate from Walter for participating.
In order to help prevent injuries, the seminar covered the following areas:
- Proper grinding techniques
- Understanding wheel ratings and MSDS information
- Personal protective equipment
- Grinding ergonomics for optimal wheel life and cost savings
- Hands on demonstrations
