Cyberport Career Fair (12 March)
Cyberport Career Fair 2016 will be taking place at Ocean View Court (The Arcade) on Saturday from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm. In addition to the usual recruitment channels, the event will act as an effective platform to bring potential employers and job seekers together. The Career Fair provides an opportunity for employers of Cyberport community to reach out to job seekers.

WTIA Mission Tour to Taiwan Smart City (21-24 March)
The explosive adoption and usage of the internet is no longer restricted only to desktop and mobile devices today. Internet of Things (IoT) has become a major component of ICT development and a critical factor contributing to the information era. Since 2014，Taipei has been organizing their Smart City Summit and Expo annually，promoting IoT technology as part of their Smart City initiative. This year, the event is held in on March 21-24 and WTIA is pleased to announce this as the destination of our first Mission Tour of the year!

Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2016 (Deadline: 8 April)
Follow up on the success of last year, WTIA organize the Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2016. By joining force with the co-organizers from Israel, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, the award will continue to recognize the excellence of innovative smartphone apps development in Asia, and provide a platform for industry professionals in the region to meet, share, collaborate and learn from each others.

WTIA & HKITF - Joint ICT Spring Dinner 2016

Co-orgainsed by Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF) and WTIA, the Joint ICT Spring Dinner 2016 took place at The Banqueting House as a joyous and festive occasion for members, associates and friends of both trade organizations.
The dinner gathering was held to rekindle with prominent peers and acquaintances within the ICT Industry, and to look forward to the Year of Monkey ahead.
The 9th HKMFF - Mobile Film Production Contest Award Presentation
2 March The Award Presentation Ceremony for The 9th Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival was held earlier this month. Behind the Schoolbag, the animation film directed by Nic Ho Chun Yu, received The Grand Award this year. The Interviews, which is produced by Chu Shun and《激戰獅子山》完整版, produced by Mocking Jer received Most Popular Mobile Film Award and Most Appreciated Mobile Film Award. HKSTP - Career Expo @ Science Park 2016
5 March Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”) hosted Career Expo@Science Park 2016 on 5 March (Saturday) at Hong Kong Science Park. The event is one of Hong Kong’s largest Innovation and Technology (“I&T”) job fair, packing over 1,000 full-time, part-time and internship openings across R&D, technical, project management, sales and marketing specialisations from 100 employers.
