At the end of last year we let you know of the projects we are supporting in Ireland and Australia, details of which can be viewed in our Trustee Report. We would love your ongoing support to enable us to continue our funding for these and other wonderful projects that are making an enormous difference at grass roots levels.

"Together, in the academic year 2014/15, we were able to give literacy support to 611 children who were struggling with reading and writing. In 2015/16 we have reached 708 girls and boys together so far - with even more projects starting after Easter. Thank you to all at the Australian Ireland Fund for the inspiring changes you make possible. Thank you for helping to give so many children in Ireland a chance to be all that they can be."

SoarThe Girls Programme, which aims to empower young women aged between 15-17, finished the development stage in February which involved 6 staff and 30 young people including Paige Harkin from Melbourne's Reach Foundation. The Programme will be piloted in March in schools throughout Ireland.
