 Visionary Leaders develop 3 core areas:
1. Themselves
They know that their entire being is their instrument. This includes their mind, heart, gut, hands, feelings, psychology, mindstate, acumen, everything. So, they make a point of cutlvating their strength, resilience, and capacity in all area.
2. Their work
Visionaries love their content. They get deep into the weeds just for the fun of it. They may not micro-manage but they enjoy understanding all aspects of their work, the elements and how they relate to each other.
3. The Art and Science of Impact
Visionaries study all the ways that influence travels and develops into irreversible impact. Whether it's wielding social media, leading a change brigade, building grass roots or mobilizing brass tops, they want to know how it works, try it out, build their skill level. Visionaries often come up against boundaries that have never before been successfully stretched. They always want to know their limits and then they want to exeed them.
Consider these three areas as a focus for you as you start your week. Where would you get the greatest bang for your buck as you plan your work ahead?
