News from swissnex in New York

August 2016

Dear Friend of swissnex,

As summer is nearing its end, and before we launch into fall, we'd like to look back to some of our recent highlights. The Venture Leaders technology team came and went - and left quite an impression. The 10 entrepreneurs made the most of their week here in New York, with coachings, meetings, company visits and public pitches. Also in June, we once again joined forces with our colleagues from the Consulate General of Switzerland in NYC to showcase Swiss-made innovation at Brooklyn's Northside Festival. Watch a short video recap here! At the second locally held Future of Money Event, experts from both sides of the pond discussed the ways in which big data could revolutionize the world of FinTech.

Looking ahead, we're calling all Swiss students and academics in the NY area who are currently enrolled or picking up studies at a NY university. Join us for our "Back to School" event on September 22nd, where you get to meet and mingle with your peers! Early September will see the opening of "Swiss Style Now", an exhibition dedicated to graphic design coming out of Switzerland past and present. Mark your calendar for the opening reception on September 6th, at the Cooper Union!

Thank you for your ongoing support,
Your swissnex team in New York
